Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced that it has become the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.
THY explained this by sharing a video via Twitter that said "Dear passengers, we are ready to fly for the most prestigious tournament in the world of football! Turkish Airlines is now the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.”
Within the scope of the agreement, THY has the right to use many logo visibility and names, including LED screens on the side of the field, before, during and after the match broadcast. THY will also be the official sponsor of the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League and UEFA Youth League finals.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines said on the subject: “With this sponsorship, we will carry the Turkish Airlines brand to all corners of the world during the season and we will bring the whole world together in Istanbul on June 10, 2023. We believe in the unifying power of sport that brings different cultures together and we aim to continue to take part in important sports organizations of the world.”
Marketing director of UEFA said: ”We are very happy to be on the road together with Turkish Airlines in the UEFA Champions League, the most important sports organization in the world."
