In the first 10 months of the year, the countries that sent the most visitors to Turkey were Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Compared to the same period last year, Russia saw an increase of 7.05%, sending 6,249,998 visitors; Germany followed with a 6.43% increase, bringing 6,083,421 tourists; and the United Kingdom ranked third with a 16.98% rise, sending 4,209,967 visitors. Iran and Bulgaria also followed closely behind.
The United Kingdom sent 530,586 visitors, corresponding to a 20.19% increase.
In October, the number of foreign visitors to Turkey increased by 9.25% compared to the same month last year, reaching 5,448,459. In terms of countries sending the most visitors to Turkey in October, Germany ranked first with 925,928 visitors (a 7.59% increase), followed by Russia with 776,618 visitors (a 15.53% increase), and the United Kingdom with 530,586 visitors (a 20.19% increase). Iran and Bulgaria followed in the rankings.
