The PCR test, which is required under coronavirus measures, will not be required from 15 countries as of 15 May 2021.
It is reported that PCR testing, previously mandatory for passengers from abroad under coronavirus measures, will not be required from passengers from 15 countries, including the UK, Ukraine and China, as of May 15.
Passengers arriving in Turkey from abroad are currently required to submit the PCR test they are supposed to have received 72 hours before their flights. With the new decision announced most recently, passengers from 15 countries will not be asked for PCR testing.
"PCR testing will not be requested for persons arriving in Turkey from Hong Kong autonomous region and China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, Latvia, Luxembourg, Ukraine and Estonia from 15 May 2021,"
As per the statement made in the section titled “Travel to Turkey” on the official website of Turkish Airlines it was shared that PCR testing would not be requested for persons arriving in Turkey from Hong Kong autonomous region and China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, Latvia, Luxembourg, Ukraine and Estonia from 15 May 2021
