People who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus will be required to show PCR tests with negative results, to be allowed to participate in activities such as concerts, movies and theaters.
PCR will also be required for long-distance travel by plane, bus, train or other public transportation for people who have not had coronavirus and not been vaccinated within the specified periods.
So, when is the PCR test for long-distance travel scheduled to start?
A circular was sent from the Ministry of Interior to the governorship of 81 provinces on the “requirement for PCR testing for certain activities”. In the circular, important information was given about the necessity of PCR testing in inter-city travel.
WHEN WILL THE APPLICATION START?
As of 6 September 2021, PCR testing with negative result will be required for non-vaccinated people to participate in activities involving citizens collectively, such as concerts, movies and theaters.
In this context, operators and or organizers will question if people have been vaccinated, passed the disease or had a negative PCR test conducted a maximum of 48 hours ago, via HES code. If the person has not had the disease or is not vaccinated or does not have a negative PCR test, they will not be allowed to participate in the event.
For people who are not vaccinated or have not had the disease to go on long-distance travel by public transport such as plane, bus, train etc. there will also be a requirement for a PCR test with a negative result. This will not apply for traveling by private vehicle.
In this context, travel companies will be required to question people who have been vaccinated, passed the disease or have a negative PCR test made a maximum of 48 hours before the vehicle acceptance stage, as of Monday September 6. If the person has not had the disease or is not vaccinated or does not have a negative PCR test, these people will not be allowed to travel.
