Turkey has surely been one of the most prominent and preferred holiday destinations for UK citizens in recent years. The epidemic prevailing for the past 2 years almost has wrecked all holiday plans of Brits who really love to spend time in this beautiful country not to forget the fact many of them have even bought homes in Turkey, to spend the rest of their lives.
A piece of very pleasant news made British citizens very happy when it was announced that Turkey and Croatia had eliminated the need for PCR testing for vaccinated Brits.
The Turkish and Croatian governments shared information that proof of a negative PCR test from UK passengers with double-vaccination would no longer be required.
This was also very much welcome by Turkey’s tourism establishments such as the Turkish Tourism Board. The board expressed hopes that the relaxed rules and direct flights from all over the UK to Antalya, Dalaman and Izmir, as well as Istanbul would attract more holidaymakers to Turkey, this autumn. They noted this would certainly contribute to the country to make up for giant revenue loss, the sector incurred during the pandemic. The authority made a clear statement in this regard saying "Turkey is ready and excited to welcome passengers from all over the UK this month and beyond. It is now much easier to travel to Turkey without the need for PCR tests and particularly after Turkey was removed from the UK government’s red list.”

All passengers aged 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated, and those arriving in Turkey must fill out an online form no more than 72 hours before the trip.
Also, on arrivals travelers must show proof of one of the following:
• The full course of Covid-19 vaccines
• Recent recovery from COVID-19
• Or, a negative PCR result 72 hours before arrival or a negative antigen 48 hours before arrival.
