Famous football coach Jose Mourinho has arrived in Istanbul for a “signing ceremony” with Fenerbahçe. Known as the "Special One," Mourinho, who has reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe, arrived in Istanbul after signing a contract with the yellow and navy blue club.
Mourinho, who has won numerous championships with some of Europe's most important clubs and prestigious titles such as the Champions League and the UEFA Cup, will lead Fenerbahçe’s football team for the 2024 season.
The 61-year-old Portuguese manager commented on the Champions League final on the evening of June 1st before meeting with Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç and his entourage to sign a contract binding him to Fenerbahçe for 2+1 years.
Thereafter, Mourinho came to Istanbul by private jet on Sunday on June 2nd, and met with fans at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium at 7:00 PM.
