A summit held at Antalya Airport has discussed plans to double the airport's capacity. Hüseyin Keskin, General Manager of the State Airports Authority (DHMİ), detailed the summit held at Antalya Airport. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure İsmail Kurt, saw numerous airline representatives participate.

According to a report by a local paper, the main topic of the summit was the more effective management of records achieved during the tourism season and the expansion of Antalya Airport's capacity. The expansion efforts are deemed critical for better managing the increasing flight and passenger traffic.

Additionally, the meeting concluded with a declaration in which all stakeholders agreed to take concrete steps to address congestion in European airspace and other sector-related issues.
