Ovacik is a residential village set in the hills between the busy harbour town of Fethiye and the beach resort of Oludeniz.
The village is awash with many luxury private villa's and apartment blocks, though some traditional Turkish homes are still around and still inhabited by locals. These locals are today still tending to their land growing fruit and vegetables or caring for the goats and chickens etc.
