Turkey Homes is delighted to be among the 50 Turkish firms exhibiting at Cityscape Global in Dubai between the 8-10th of September 2015.
This is thought to be the Middle East’s most influential property event and Turkey’s booming real estate sector is plain to see with the most number of attendees being made by Turkish companies.
The property market in Turkey is going from strength to strength with more transactions being made by foreign buyers than ever before. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of house sales to international investors increased 22 per cent in the first half of 2015, compared to the same period the previous year.
This growing interest comes from buyers from all over the world, but especially the Middle East where many people are snapping up holiday homes in the trendy city of Istanbul or one of the many beautiful coastal resorts.
In fact, research by Istanbul's Culture and Tourism Directorate shows that almost 20 per cent of the seven million-plus visitors to Istanbul are Arab tourists.
“Turkey is easily accessible from the Middle East and many buyers like to come over for the weekend to enjoy designer shopping, fine dining and the vibrant nightlife,” explains Tolga Ertukel, Founder of Turkey Homes. “Turkey Homes is delighted to be attending Cityscape Global and introducing buyers to our extensive range of property and our in-depth knowledge of the local markets.”
During the three-day show at Dubai World Trade Centre, Turkey will be representing the largest international space within the 4,200 sqm exhibition area.
As well as buying for pleasure, there has been a huge increase in both private and corporate investment in Turkey.
Diana Dogan, head of research, CBRE Turkey, said:
“At the corporate investment level, this demand has in turn created a yet untapped potential opportunity to develop homes specifically tailored to the Arab market. The Turkish banking sector has seen the most active interest with Arab financial institutions looking to gain a foothold or expand their presence within Turkey’s lucrative banking industry.”
Turkish participation in Cityscape Global has grown by 50 per cent this year with no signs of a slow down. With Turkey firmly established as a property hot spot for Gulf investors, UK-based Tolga Ertukel believes it to be a perfect showcase for Turkey Homes.
“Turkey offers an attractive investment opportunity for buyers from the Middle East,” explains Tolga Ertukel. “It enjoys economic stability, impressive rates of property appreciation, high rental yields and rising foreign demand coupled with record levels of tourism.”
