Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek has shared a message about the production facility of Togg, Turkey’s first electric car.
During his visit to the factory Minister Şimşek made a statement saying, "I have visited many factories around the world in 35 years. The Togg factory is truly impressive."
The Minister shared this statement in a post on his Twitter (X) account.
Minister Şimşek also shared a video related to the factory where Togg is produced on social media platform X and wrote the following:
"In the past 35 years, I have visited many factories around the world. The Togg factory in Gemlik is truly impressive..."
The Togg factory was opened on October 29, 2022. As of July, the number of delivered Togg vehicles has exceeded 2,000. President Erdogan of Turkey spent an outstanding effort to bring this project into life, and most prominent businessmen of Turkey came together, putting in all their effort and capabilities to establish the company behind TOGG.
As it looks now, TOGG could be a success story in Turkey, and it goes without saying that global success would require much more effort in a market with giants.
