President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the Participation Finance Strategy Document Presentation Meeting held at Dolmabahçe Office. President Erdogan said clear messages about fighting inflation: "I hope that we will build the Turkish Century together by overcoming the inflation issue, the impact of which we have been feeling for some time amid global developments." Erdogan also proposed that the name of Participation Bank be changed to Participation Financial Institution.

"For the last 8-9 years, they have tried every way from a conspiracy to a coup to make Turkey ungovernable." President Erdogan also gave clear messages on the fight against inflation. Erdogan said, "I hope that by overcoming the inflation issue, we will build the Turkish Century together."
"I believe these efforts are much more meaningful for Turkey to raise its goals to the top of the global league in the economy, as in all areas. We are going through a period when the increase in energy and commodity prices is much more profound.
Our struggle against the traps set for us is evident. Amid global developments, we will overcome the inflation issue, the impact of which we have been feeling for some time, and hopefully, we will build the Turkish Century together.”
It is a fact that Turkey, like many other countries, has felt the impact of the global crisis deeply for quite a while. However, the government has been working hard and trying every alternative to get the economy back on its feet again. The administration firmly believes the inflation rate will start going down in the next few months before the general election to be held in June 2023.
